How was your journey to becoming a hairdresser?
I wanted to be a garbage man when I was a child, but fortunately that didn’t stick for too long and soon after I started enjoying hairdressing. I was always fascinated with this profession and that was also the only thing that stuck with me until now. First my mum did not approve of it, she was afraid that I would change my mind in the middle of the way, however she soon changed her mind when she saw me thrive in school. Since then she is very happy that I am following my dreams.
What is your greatest success and which is the next one?
To be honest, my biggest success was winning a Decinska vlna competition, where I represented my school. However, that all happened before I started working in Salon Petra Mechurova. There I won first place for creating hairstyle and I also won the award of the absolute winner of this competition. When I look into my future, I believe that my greatest success would be to have a large and happy clientele, which would be happy with my serviceWho or what is your inspiration?
I have found my biggest inspiration in my partner, who is also a hairdresser. He taught me a lot and especially his faith in me helped me follow my dreams. We both motivate each other and push each other further. Other than that I find my inspiration in all hairstylists, I also admire Petra and my teachers from first and third class. They helped me stay in the profession.
What do you like the most when it comes to hair?
Personally I love big change. It is always a huge challenge, but I like overcoming it. I also like short haircuts such as bob or pixie.
And besides hairstyling, what are your other hobbies?
I focus on creative hobbies such as photographing, painting and dance. My special hobby is pole dance, which might sound a bit extravagant, but the truth is the opposite of it. This kind of sport is very difficult but it helps you strengthen your body.
